VIP Anywhere
Enhance collaboration within your district and with the community at large with our Convergence Client. The VIP Anywhere service features the Convergence Client which provides a unified, easy-to-use portal that gives users access to the features and services of VIP PBX™. By focusing end-user collaboration needs into a single standards-based software client, you'll gain a powerful, cost-effective productivity advantage. Everyday business tasks require only click or drag access. And a presence indicator locates call recipients in advance of calls and determines their availability, reducing telephone tag and delays.

Using the Convergence Client, you can participate in conferences on your computer that include voice, video, instant messaging, and desktop and web page sharing. With just a mouse click, users can add video or data sharing to a conference-no need to schedule a separate video session or e-mail documents to attendees.
Convergence delivers an open and integrated communications platform that gives IT Directors the opportunity to optimize existing business processes. An example is the ability to integrate district wide directories into IP phones and other collaboration tools. Directory integration enables end users to access district wide information from multiple devices. With convergence, technology will no longer limit users but enhances the ability to reinvent business process, drive down costs, and deliver value to your users.
Delivering Flexibility
Unified communications removes media barriers and increases productivity by enabling users to access corporate information from any device, regardless of platform. Additionally, the VIP Anywhere service enables you to:
- Create a Buddy List of your friends and coworkers who use the VIP PBX.
- See when your buddies are online and available, then call them or send them instant messages.
- Have a video/voice conversation using your computer microphone, speakers, and camera.
- Click to migrate from one media (such as voice) to another (such as video).
- Start a desktop sharing session and optionally take command of another person's desktop.

- Use the Call Log to view the most recent calls you have placed and received.
