All the Information On-Line to All the Stakeholders - Creating a Culture of Collaboration
School MATRIX® Curriculum helps Curriculum Directors handle pressures for relevant, effective curriculum.
As a Curriculum Director you are able to...
- easily determine if there are any state or local standards that your curriculum does not address.
- view an overall 'map' of your curriculum to see (and perhaps modify) the sequence in which certain skills and concepts are developed.
- determine whether or not your curriculum includes an appropriate number of higher order learning objectives, and whether higher order learning skills are being taught and assessed.
- encourage teachers and other curriculum authors to create well-designed instructional activities using 'proven' instructional strategies.
School MATRIX® Curriculum helps District Superintendents determine and demonstrate the effectiveness of instructional programs.
As a Superintendent of schools you are able to:
- know as a district whether student performance is improving or declining from year-to- year (or from grading period-to-grading period).
- determine the extent to which the instructional program is helping to move the district toward its goals and mission.
- identify what is 'best practice' in your district.
- generate accurate and up-to-date reports for state and federal agencies to maintain funding.
School MATRIX® Curriculum helps Building Principals handle pressures for quality schools.
As a Principal you are able to:
- analyze disciplinary data to ensure compliance to equity standards and evaluate the efficacy of given intervention techniques and strategies.
- provide your staff with a strategy and a set of tools that they can use to handle all the pressures for accountability and detailed reporting without overwhelming them with new tasks and duties more.
- identify the extent to which students have mastered grade-level standards and objectives before being advanced to the next grade level or to depict how individual students, groups of students and/or all students in your building are performing against the District's standards sets.
- prepare for teacher performance evaluation visits/conferences by reviewing data related to a given teacher's performance.
School MATRIX® Curriculum helps Teachers handle pressures to be accountable while enhancing their ability to be professionals.
As a teacher you are able to:
- have easy Internet access to on-line resources and tools that support the district's curriculum.
- generate quizzes and tests, make them available on-line for your students, and have the computer help you score and analyze students' responses.
- quickly find available activities and resources in the K-12 curriculum for teaching/reinforcing skills and concepts with which your children are having difficulty.
easily exchange attendance, discipline, lessons and assessment information with parents and keep them up-to-date on their children's progress and performance.
