The EduTone Central is the heart of the EduTone XchangeTM, constantly provisioning users with services within each organization's Portal and across organizations.
The EduTone ApplianceTM, housed inside each organization's network firewall and accessed only by the organization's site administrator, maintains all end-user identities and credentials to protect the privacy of the end-users and prevent any identity theft.
The EduTone Central does NOT have access to any end-user identity data, but has patent-pending designs that allow the EduTone Xchange to anonymously identify end-users and to securely provision services to them per their organizations' role-based policy and access privileges.
Through the EduTone Appliance, the Site Administrators have secure access to EduTone Central to custom configure (change, add or delete) their organization's subscription to any of the EduTone ChannelsTM and the EduTone Xchange optional support services.
